The Karnataka HC on November 3 granted partial relief to Yeddyurappa in one of the two corruption cases.

New Delhi: Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa's bail hearing in a second graft case is set to come up before the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday. The court granted partial relief to Yeddyurappa in one of the two corruption cases relating to alleged irregularities in denotifying government land for personal gains on November 3.

The former chief minister will be released from judicial custody and will be set free, if the court grants him bail in the second case.

Yeddyurappa was arrested on October 15 after a special Lokayukta court charged him in alleged irregularities in denotifying government land. He was shifted to a hospital on October 16 citing chest pains. He returned to jail the next day only to get admitted in another hospital the very same evening.

There are five cases against Yeddyurappa. However, he is in jail in connection with only two cases.
