UP Men Arrested For Making Reel in Police Station Premises, Netizens Ask 'What Was The Crime?'

In what comes as a bizarre incident, two men were arrested after they created a reel of walking in the backdrop of Wazirganj police station in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. The Police claimed that the duo was arrested for filming a reel on the premises. The decision of arresting the two men did not sit well with a section of netizens and has stirred anger on social media. Many people were even seen questioning if creating videos at the police station was unlawful.

While making people aware about the arrest, the police department made a post on ‘X’ stating, “You too were living a decent life, but your arrogance has gone away because of the reel, Making a reel inside the police station is very difficult, Wazirganj police station arrested two youths for making a reel inside the police station.”

With this, the department also shared the reel which was created. It showed one of them posing on a selfie camera and the other walking towards him. Here, have a look for yourself:

The arrest has stirred quite some anger among people on social media. “How making reel outside police station become Crime? Can anyone enlighten me?” asked ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “Gonda Police is requested to please tell everyone under which section both the youth were arrested for this unforgivable crime??” Hello @AnkitMittal789 Can you please explain What crime these both kids have done?? And why they are arrested by @gondapolice and under which section??” wrote another person.
