The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) phase 2 exam 2023 begins tomorrow, December 11. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the phase 2 examination admit card on the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates need to key in their login credentials, such as registration number and date of birth, in the portal provided to download the UGC NET Phase 2 admit card 2023.
The examination will conclude on December 14. Candidates must reach the examination centre half an hour before the examination time for document verification. The UGC NET phase 2 examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will commence at 9 am and will end at noon, whereas the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The phase 2 examination will be conducted for a total of 41 subjects. The exam consists of two papers: Papers 1 and 2. Paper 1 carries 50 objective-based questions, whereas Paper 2 carries 100 objective-based questions. Candidates have to complete the exam in three hours.

UGC NET Phase 2 Admit Card 2023: How To Download
Candidates who are going to appear for the UGC NET exam can follow the below-mentioned steps to download the UGC NET Phase 2 admit card 2023:
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official portal of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link that says, “UGC NET Phase 2 admit card” on the homepage.
Step 3: After clicking, a login page will appear on the candidate’s screen
Step 4: Key in your application number, date of birth followed by the security pin and hit submit
Step 5: Once done, the UGC NET Phase 2 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the admit card and print a hard copy for the examination day.
UGC NET December 2023 Exam Day Guidelines
As per the exam day guidelines, entry will not be given at the UGC NET December 2023 exam centre without an admit card. No candidate will be allowed to go out of the exam hall under any circumstances before or in the middle of the exam. Those appearing for the exam are not allowed to carry any kind of written material, notes, paper, purse, or bag. They are also not allowed to carry electronic devices like mobile phones, earphones, tablets, or smart watches to the UGC NET exam centre. It is prohibited to take food items inside the examination hall.
