Jasprit Bumrah’s wife Sanjana Ganesan extended her heartfelt wishes to the India cricketer, who celebrated his 30th birthday on Wednesday, December 6. A television presenter by profession, Sanjana penned an adorable note for her husband on Instagram, highlighting the bond between the couple.
The post accompanied a series of treasured photographs. From tying the knot to becoming parents, the journey of their happy marriage life was well depicted through the pictures. In one frame, Bumrah and Sanjana could be seen smilingly posing in front of the Paris Eiffel Tower, while another one captured them enjoying a beautiful sunset at a sea beach.

“The highs feel transcendent and the lows aren’t so bad when we’re together. Every smile, every tear, every joy, everything, big or small, with you, always. I love doing life with you, happy birthday,” Sanaja wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. As soon as it surfaced on the Meta platform, many fans marked their best wishes for Jasprit Bumrah in the comment section.

Among others, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan reacted to the post with a couple of red heart emojis. Fellow India pacer Umesh Yadav’s spouse Tanya Wadhwa also wished Jasprit Bumrah on the special occasion, commenting, “Happy Birthday.”
Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan got married at a private ceremony in Goa two years back. The couple first met during the 2013 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Back then, Sanjana used to work for a sports broadcaster and got an opportunity to interview the Mumbai Indians pacer.

During a conversation with Dinesh Karthik after their marriage, Bumrah revealed that he and Sanjana initially thought each other arrogant. But their relationship began to grow after they began to interact during the 2019 ODI World Cup in England. “I spoke to her for the first time during the 2019 World Cup when she was here covering the event. We became friends and started talking a lot,” Bumrah said on Sky Sports.
Bumrah and Sanjana welcomed their first child, Angad Jasprit Bumrah, in September this year. Then, Bumrah was in Sri Lanka to represent India in the Asia Cup. The speedster returned home ahead of a league match against Nepal as he wanted to be with his wife.
Bumrah was last seen in action in the recently concluded ICC ODI World Cup, where India notched 10 victories in a row before falling victim to Australia in the final. He wrapped up the home campaign as the fourth-highest wicket-taker. In his 11 appearances in the multi-nation tournament, Bumrah fetched a total of 20 scalps including a four-wicket haul against Afghanistan. He has been appointed as the vice-captain for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa, beginning on December 26.
