Mumbai: Samsung has been enjoying the taste of success with the 5-inch Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II. The company is now working on yet another 5-inch smartphone-tablet hybrid device dubbed as the Galaxy Grand. This smartphone will support have a resolution and is likely to be more affordable. The filing report spotted by Tech Kiddy at the Federal Communications Commission had few details about this handset.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Brand will house a quad-core Samsung Exynos 4412 mobile processor and will run Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update. The specifications say the phone has a 2100 mAh battery. Another surprising fact was that the 5-inch display will have a 800×480 pixel resolution.
The Galaxy Grand will also support LTE network along with 3G Networks. It will offer support for WiFi and Near Field Communication. This smartphone is codenamed as Baffin and most likely would be launched for the emerging markets.
