The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Super Specialty 2023 (NEET SS) exam will begin tomorrow, September 29. The NEET SS 2023 is the single eligibility-cum-ranking exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for those seeking admission to various DM/MCh and DrNB super specialty courses. The applicants who are appearing for the exam shall mandatorily carry their NEET SS admit card 2023 to the examination hall. Aspirants who haven’t downloaded their admit card yet can visit the official website at natboard.edu.in and download the same.
NEET SS 2023: Exam Schedule
–– Medical Group: September 29 (9 AM to 11:30 AM)
–– Radiodiagnosis Group/ Microbiology Group/ Pathology Group/ Psychiatry Group/ Surgical Group/ Pediatric group/ Anesthesiology Group/ Pharmacology Group: September 29 (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM)
–– ENT Group Respiratory Medicine Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Group: September 30 (9AM to 11:30 AM)

Candidates should be aware that the NEET SS question paper 2023 will consist of 150 questions that they will have to answer within the stipulated time of two and a half hours to complete the exam. Aspirants must prepare themselves from the curriculum of the postgraduate exit level of the primary feeder broad specialty subject, as all the questions will be asked from there. However, the questions for any group will cover the general, basic component and all sub-specialty components of the respective primary feeder broad specialty subject.
NEET SS 2023: Exam Pattern
The NEET SS will be a group-based examination consisting of questions from only broad specialty primary feeders. Candidates will now be able to appear in any of the super-specialties as per feeder subject. All DM, MCh, and DrNB courses offered for admission through NEET-SS 2023 are combined into 13 different groups, which means there will be a common question paper for admission to all the super-specialty courses covered in a particular group.
Talking about the marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer, whereas for incorrect answers, 1 mark will be deducted, i.e., there will be a 25 per cent negative marking. However, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
NEET SS 2023: Exam Day Guidelines
–– Candidates must report to the exam venue’s ‘Reporting Counter’ at the time specified on their admit cards.
–– Only those applicants who have been granted an admit card will be permitted entrance within the exam hall.
–– Candidates who do not have a valid ID will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
–– Candidates who present fake or counterfeit identification documents will have a case filed against them for unfair methods.
–– Beyond the security checkpoint, candidates will not be permitted to carry any textual material, electronic device, jewellery/ornaments, wallet, goggles, purses, belt, cap, or water bottle.
