The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will reopen the registration process for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023 today. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam at kea.kar.nic.in. The registration window will remain active until tomorrow, December 19, up to 4 pm.

KSET is conducted for the recruitment of Lecturers and Assistant Professors in various Universities, Colleges, and Institutions — Government, Aided, or Private, throughout the state. Candidates must note that those applying during this period will be assigned to examination centres in Bangalore only.

The KSET 2023 was initially scheduled to be conducted on November 26 but has now been postponed to December 31. The examination will consist of two papers, both featuring only objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam is slated to take place across 11 centres scattered throughout Karnataka.

Karnataka State Eligibility Test (SET) 2023: How to Apply

Step 1. Visit the official website of KEA at kea.kar.nic.in.

Step 2. Locate and click on the KSET 2023 registration link available on the home page.

Step 3. A new page will open, prompting candidates to enter their registration details.

Step 4. Submit the information and log in to the account.

Step 5. Complete the application form and check all details carefully.

Step 6. Proceed to make the required payment of application fees.

Step 6. After submission, download the confirmation page and retain a hard copy for future reference.

KSET 2023: Application Fees

The examination fee for KSET 2023 is Rs 1000 for General, Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, and other State candidates. The application fee is Rs 700 for Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD, and Transgender candidates.

Candidates must note that any candidate who was previously deemed eligible in any past KSET examinations, intends to participate in the ongoing KSET test, their candidature will face cancellation, and the earlier eligibility will be nullified through the process of de-notification.
