'DRS Manipulate ho Raha Hai': Hasan Raza Floats Another Conspiracy Theory After India's Dominant Win
Former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza continues to question India's dominant run in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza invited the ridicule of the cricket world after his bizarre India using ‘different ball’ than other teams during the world cup 2023 claim.

Now, he has come up with another conspiracy theory, this time his target is Decision Review System (DRS).

ICC World Cup: Schedule | Results | Points Table | Most Runs | Most Wickets

Raza, who played 7 Tests and 16 ODIS for Pakistan, has claimed India is ‘manipulating DRS’ to get favourable decisions for their players following their massive win over South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday evening.

“How can a ball that has been pitched on the leg-stump by a left-arm spinner can turn towards the middle stump? It was Impact in line, the ball was headed towards leg stump. I want this to be checked,” Raza said.

When asked by the interviewer if he’s claiming that the DRS is being manipulated, Raza responded, “Yes, DRS is being manipulated. This isn’t the first time that it has happened (during the world cup). I will bring Pakistan into this discussion. Their match was so close against South Africa. Nobody apologised for that, it didn’t go in the favour of Pakistan. This is what home advantage, home conditions is all about.”

“I will go back to the delivery that Saeed Ajmal bowled to legendary Sachin Tendulkar (during India vs Pakistan 2011 world cup semi-finals). He Tendulkar took review (after being given out LBW against Ajmal). The ball was on the middle and it showed missing leg by two feet,” he added.

Last week, Raza was slammed for his claim that Indian bowlers are being given a different ball than their counterparts from other teams which is the reason why they are able to produce prodigious seam and swing.

Legendary Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram had blasted those on social media who were backing the unfounded claims.

Beizatti apni toh karani hai saadi bhi na karao duniya vich (You are embarrassing yourselves and the entire country). It’s a simple thing: An umpire brings with himself a box containing 12 balls. The team bowling first gets to choose two balls – option 1 and option 2. The umpire keeps the balls in each pocket,” Akram said.

“Then the remaining balls are then carried to the dressing room of the batting team by the umpire who is accompanied by a lot of people. The batting team gets to pick their two options as well. Then he hands over the ball to the on-field umpires, all this is happening in the presence of other officials too,” he added.
