The BTS ARMY is thrilled as the band member Suga has surprised fans with the announcement of his upcoming film release, titled D-Day: The Movie. As the second oldest member of the globally renowned South Korean boy band BTS, Suga is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in the public sector. Despite his ongoing service, member Suga continues to engage with fans through various projects, including this new film. The movie, scheduled for theatrical release in April, is titled after Suga’s highly appreciated Agust D world tour, which concluded with a spectacular finale. The had started on April 26, 2023, in New York City, and ended on August 6, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea.
In the film, viewers can expect to witness not only Suga’s performances but also those of BTS members Jungkook, RM, and Jimin, making it a must-watch for fans worldwide.
While BTS is on a temporary hiatus due to mandatory military service, Suga’s exemption allows him to remain active in the public sector. On March 6, Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, shared a video announcement for his new feature film, Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE, with fans eagerly anticipating its release.

The official description of the film reads, “Experience the pulsating rhythms and excitement of ‘D-DAY’ THE FINAL on screen, everything from the exquisite sounds traversing the boundary between ’21st Century Pop Icon’ BTS member SUGA and solo artist Agust D, electrifying performance, explosive energy, to special guests featuring fellow BTS members RM, Jimin, and Jung Kook."
The film, set to premiere in theatres and IMAX worldwide on April 10 and 13, will feature footage from Suga’s D-DAY THE FINAL encore concert held last August. Fans can purchase tickets for the screenings starting Tuesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT/3 p.m. GMT on SugaTheMovie.com, where all theatres showing the film will be listed.
In addition to Suga’s performances, the movie will include special appearances by other BTS members, including Jimin, Jungkook, and RM. This isn’t Suga’s first foray into film; he previously released his solo
documentary, Suga: Road to D-Day, in 2023. The documentary chronicled his journey as a solo artist and aired on Disney+ and Weverse last April.
