Farhan Akhtar’s life has truly come a full circle. The actor-director has gone fro directing a film on a soldier, aka Lakshya which starred Hrithik Roshan, to playing one today. On Wednesday, Farhan took to Instagram and announced that he will be seen playing the role of Major Shaitan Singh PVC in the film titled 120 Bahadur. The actor took to Instagram to share the first look. The film will revisit the Battle of Rezang La, fought on the 18th of November 1962 during the Indo-China war.
In the photo, Farhan’s back faced the camera. He stood on top of the mountain, facing the Himalayan range. A part of the range was under attack. “Wo teen hazaar the… Aur hum?” read the text on the poster. Sharing the poster, Farhan wrote, “What they accomplished will never be forgotten. It is an absolute privilege to bring you the story of Maj Shaitan Singh PVC and the soldiers of Charlie company, 13 Kumaon regiment.”
“Famously known as the Battle of Rezang La, fought on the 18th of November 1962 during the Indo-China war, it is a story of remarkable courage, heroism and selflessness shown by our men in uniform against all odds.
