Animal Actress Triptii Dimri Has A Favourite Cricketer; Any Guesses?

Animal featuring Ranbir Kapoor is making waves at the box office. The movie has a star-studded cast including Triptii Dimri, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. Triptii Dimri, who plays a crucial role in the film as Zoya Riaz opposite Ranbir, has garnered significant attention for her performance. Amidst the ongoing discussions about her performance, a recent interview clip has gone viral where Triptii reveals her favourite cricketer.

A clip of Dimri from her interview with ETimes has gone viral on social media. Triptii Dimri was asked who she would choose as her favourite cricketer. Any guesses? Well, the 29-year-old named the former India captain Kohli. She said, “Virat Kohli, no doubt.”

Earlier in another interview, the actress shared how she was always inspired by Ranbir Kapoor and was grateful for the chance to work with him. Triptii Dimri in an interview with Connect FM Canada said, “Who wouldn’t want to be opposite him and learn something from him? He is such an honest performer, and it was beautiful to see him up close performing and giving his all to the character.” Praising the actor’s craft, Triptii stated that Ranbir is a “gifted actor,” and that the actor is completely honest with what he does on screen.

When asked if she wishes to work with Ranbir Kapoor again, the actress told Pinkvilla, “It feels fantastic to see the amount of love audiences are showering on our chemistry. I hope we collaborate again in the future.” Her ardent fans surely want to see her in a full-length feature soon.

Triptii Dimri made her acting debut in 2017 with Poster Boys, and her first notable role was in the romance drama Laila Majnu. However, the actress rose to prominence for her appearance in the 2020 film Bulbbul, released on Netflix. Anvita Dutt directed the spooky drama which received widespread acclaim and brought the actress into the limelight. Triptii was last seen in the movie Qala which was released last year and also starred Babil Khan.

Triptii plays an aspiring singer and is set in the 1940s. Her forthcoming projects include the Dharma Production film Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, in which she co-stars with Vicky Kaushal, and the Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video, where she will appear with Rajkummar Rao and is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
