Suspense thrillers are a huge rage among viewers these days. The unexpected twists, the buildup and the unforeseen climax drive the audience to the edge of their seats. Recently, one film which is currently streaming on an OTT platform is engaging the audience and getting a terrific response. This Telugu film is a cop drama and its nail-biting suspense makes it a must-watch for those who love thrillers. SIT is a small-budget film which did not make a lot of noise after its theatrical release. The film is headlined by Aravind Krishna and Natasha Doshi in the lead roles. It is helmed by Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy and Zee5 bagged the OTT rights of the film. It began streaming on the platform on May 10 and has been gaining much attention and has become popular with the audience.
The cop drama is now trending on the top 10 list for Telugu films. Since the film is getting a great response, the director, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy shared, “SIT was always made for the OTT audience right from the beginning. We worked very hard on the film which had a unique backdrop. I am so happy that my film is finally getting what it deserves.”
SIT revolves around a Special Investigation Team, spearheaded by ACP Partha Saradhi who is in charge of a murder case of a billionaire’s wife Navya. He arrested her husband Rahul as a suspect in the case. But things take a turn when the inspector delves deep into Navya’s past and all the family secrets. The theme of the film is how the police team solves a crime and how the killer is caught.
There is plenty of suspense in the film. An important and mega plot twist will be followed by yet another twist which will leave you hooked to the plot. What has further left the audience impressed is that the film ends with suspense, which means there is a scope of sequence.
Now, the director has recently confirmed by announcing the same. He shared that the makers are planning to make a second and a third part which will be released on OTT.
