One of the most known and adored on-screen pair of the Malayalam film industry, Mohanlal and Shobana are going to be seen again after a long span of 20 years. While sharing the details of the upcoming film, the Malayalam actress and Bharatnatyam dancer Shobana on Friday shared a video clip on her official Instagram handle.

As Shobana was on a break from the industry and is returning after four years, she mentioned the same in her post’s caption. It reads, “Four years have passed like four minutes.”
In the video clip, the actress is seen greeting her admirers and saying that she is doing a Malayalam movie after a long span. She also expressed her excitement over the same project, as this is going to be yet another film with Mohanlal. She also mentioned that the upcoming film project is a Tharun Moorthy directorial project titled L360, which marks Mohanlal’s 360th film in his career. Additionally, this will be marking the on-screen pair’s 56th film together.
The post has garnered as many as 186,311 likes on the social media platform, apart from the thousands of comments in it.
The actress has been a prominent name in the Malayalam film industry as she has worked with several regional stars such as Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, and Mohanlal. Apart from the Malayalam movies, the Bharatnatyam dancer has also appeared in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada films. In her film career so far, she has received several accolades including two National Film Awards, one Kerala State Film Award, Filmfare Awards South, and numerous nominations.
Considering her pairing with Mohanlal on-screen, she has appeared in the movies like Manichitrathazhu, Nadodikkattu, Thenmavin Kombath, Pavithram, TP Balagopalan MA, Rangam, Minnaram, Vellanakalude Nadu, Ulladakkam, and Maya Mayooram are among others. Following several such films, the pair was previously seen in Mampazhakkalam, released in 2004.
Now, the duo will be appearing in Tharun Moorthy’s upcoming L 360, backed up by M Renjith under the production banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.
