Tabu On Her Recent Box Office Success With Crew, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: 'I Hope It Catapults Me To...'

Tabu is on a winning streak as she prepares for the release of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.’ Having enjoyed great success at the box office with hits like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,’ ‘Drishyam 2,’ and “Crew’ in recent years, the talented actress opened up about the same in a recent interview.

During a conversation with the entertainment portal PinkVilla, Tabu reflected upon the success of her recent films and shares insights into what she considers when choosing her next project. She shared, “It’s great; it’s fantastic, and I can just feel gratitude for experiencing this kind of success. I just hope that it catapults me to do more interesting stuff.”

Tabu emphasized that when deciding to sign a film, she focuses on three key elements: the story itself, the significance of her character within that narrative, and the director’s vision. For her, these aspects must align perfectly for her to commit to a project. The actress highlighted that other factors, such as the co-stars, are insignificant compared to the core components of the story and her character’s role in it,”Story, the relevance of my character in the story, and the director. Just these three things have to fall into place. Kaun hai aur film mein kya hai (Whoever else is there in the film) that’s not relevant to me at all,” she explained.

The highly anticipated film “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” boasts a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the roles of Krishna and Vasudha, with Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar portraying younger versions of these characters. Jimmy Shergill also graces the movie with his presence.

This romantic thriller, presented by NH Studioz, is a production of Friday Filmworks. Directed by the Neeraj Pandey and produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia, the film promises to be a captivating cinematic experience.

Originally slated for a July 5, 2024 release, the movie’s premiere was recently rescheduled. The makers explained, “Dear friends, in response to requests from exhibitors and the distribution community, we have collectively agreed to postpone the release date of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’.” Fans can now mark their calendars for August 2 when the movie will finally hit the silver screens.
