Sobhita Dhulipala stepped out on Wednesday night amid the controversy that erupted over Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce. The Night Manager actress made her way to the premiere of Ananya Panday’s new film, CTRL. Sobhita, who is engaged to Naga Chaitanya, was seen looking gorgeous in a pair of high-waist formal pants along with a crisp white shirt.
The Ponniyin Selvan 2 star was seen flaunting her curly locks as she posed for the cameras. Fans also noticed that Sobhita was sporting her massive engagement ring during the outing. A video shared on YouTube showed the actress was posing for the cameras when she noticed her car almost hurting the paparazzi. She panicked and immediately signalled her driver to stop the car, evading a possible injury.

Although Sobhita posed for the cameras, she remained tight-lipped about the controversy involving Chaitanya and Samantha. For the unversed, on Wednesday, Congress minister Konda Surekha claimed that KT Rama Rao caused issues in Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s marriage.
She claimed that KTR demanded Samantha be sent to him in exchange for sparing Nagarjuna Akkineni’s N-Convention Centre from demolition. Surekha claimed Samantha refused and it led to her separation from Naga Chaitanya. “KTR asked to send Samantha in return for not demolishing the N-convention centre. Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go to KTR, but she said no. That led to divorce," Surekha was quoted as saying by Deccan Herald.
Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna reacted to the claims. He issued a statement on social media which read: “The decision of divorce is easily one of the most painful and unfortunate life decisions one has to make. After a lot of thought, a mutual decision was made by me and my former spouse to part ways."
He continued, “It was a decision made in peace, owing to our different life goals and in the interest of moving forward with respect and dignity as two mature adults." Chaitanya said that the rumours and gossip surrounding their divorce were baseless and out of line. “There have been various baseless and completely ridiculous gossips on the matter so far. I have remained silent all this while out of deep respect for my earlier spouse as well as my family."
Nagarjuna also slammed Konda Surekha. He took to X and shared in Telugu, “I strongly condemn the remarks made by Honourable Minister Mrs. Konda Surekha. It is inappropriate to involve the personal lives of film stars, who stay away from politics, to attack your political opponents."
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged in August and are set to get married soon.
