Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming project Citadel, from Avengers: Endgame and Extraction fame director Russo Brothers, is currently shooting in London. Pictures from the sets have emerged and tease the actress’ intense action avatar in the series.
In one of the images, Priyanka is seen hanging from a harness with co-star Richard Madden. They are seen in their respective costumes. Priyanka dons a silver and black outfit while Richard sports an olive green set. It is difficult to ascertain what their roles are in Citadel but the pictures sure look exciting.
In another image, Priyanka is seen riding an ATV machine with a gun-like equipment rigged on to it at the top.
Citadel is an Amazon series which was announced in July 2018. It got delayed due to Covid-19 outbreak. “The idea is to create a truly global, action-packed spy series. It’s a totally innovative, multifaceted international approach to storytelling,” Amazon Studios chief Jennifer Salke had said about the series.
In a recent interview, Joe Russo had complimented Priyanka as they began work on Citadel. “She’s an incredible star. I mean I think she has been amazing. We just had a table read of the show a couple of days ago and it was fantastic. We are so proud of that show. We are excited for audiences to see it. She is amazing and she’s going to be amazing in the show,” he had said.
Citadel release date is not announced yet.
