Ajith Kumar Is Ready For 'Adrenaline-Fueled Journey' As He Announces New Racing Team

Marking a new professional endeavour, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has now officially announced his racing team. It has been named Ajith Kumar Racing. Suresh Chandra, Ajith’s manager, shared the exciting news on Friday with an intriguing post on Instagram, comprising pictures of the actor clicked while testing the Ferrari 488 EVO Challenge at the Dubai Autodrome.

Divulging details about Ajith Kumar’s racing team in an elaborate note on Instagram, he stated, “The new racing team will be engaged in various international racing series starting with the competitive 24hseries European series in the porsche 992 GT3 cup category (sic).” The official racing driver for the team will be Fabian Duffieux.

“One of our biggest aims will be to help talented young drivers while providing them a fully supported racing program. Can’t wait to tell you more about this very soon! (sic),” added the manager in his post.

In another post shared on X, Suresh Chandra included pictures of Ajith Kumar from Dubai Autodrome and wrote, “Testing the Ferrari 488 EVO Challenge at Dubai_Autodrome as AK gears up for the upcoming European racing season! Also excited to reveal a new helmet paint scheme. Ready for an adrenaline-fueled journey ahead! (sic).”

Ajith Kumar, besides his acting projects, is known for his passion for car and bike racing. In 2010, he took part in the MRF Racing series and competed on multiple circuits in India as well as Internationally including Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Germany and Malaysia. Additionally, he also participated in the Formula 2 Championship alongside Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren.

Often sharing clips of himself driving his swanky rides, Ajith Kumar captured the attention of his fans a while back when a video surfaced online. Featuring the actor as he drove an Audi at the speed of 234 km/h, the video immediately went viral upon being shared. In the clip, the actor could be heard asking the one who captured the video, “Can you see it?”

In terms of film career, Ajith Kumar has two projects in the pipeline, including Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly and Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaa Muyarchi, which is slated for a Diwali release.
