After a public divorce battle, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya has taken back her divorce notice. Aaliya had filed for divorce last year and had also levied accusations of physical and emotional against the actor and his family.
Talking to Etimes in an interview, Aaliya said, “I am ready to reconcile with Nawaz. I shall take the divorce notice back. I shall sort out with his brother Shamaz and end that matter too.”
Talking further about the decision, Aaliya said, “For the last 10 days, I have been battling the COVID-19 virus, which is the reason I have been living in isolation in my house in Mumbai. Nawaz, who is currently busy shooting in Lucknow, is taking care of our children Yaani Siddiqui and Shora Siddiqui.” She added that she is impressed by the way he is taking care of the children. He hasn’t hired any help because he wants minimum people around them during the Covid-19 crisis. She also added that the actor has realised that it is his duty and she is happy about it
“Seems, Nawaz wasn’t demonstrative. The unprecedented situation has revealed that he did and does care,” she added. She also added that they are talking after almost a year on about their kids and the scope of their reconciliation.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nawaz is currently shooting for Kushan Nandy’s Jogira Sa Ra Ra with Neha Sharma. He will also be seen in Bole Chudiya, a film directed by his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatiya in the lead role.
