Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani are all set to reunite once again for the fourth film in the Masti franchise. On Wednesday, the actors took to their respective Instagram handles to announce Masti 4. The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri whereas it will be produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria of Maruti International with A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia of Waveband Productions. However, no details regarding the film’s shooting schedule have been shared as of now.
Sharing the movie announcement on his Instagram handle, Aftab wrote, “Time to buckle up for the OG rollercoaster of laughs! #Masti4 is going on floors soon, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! With producers A Jhunjhunwala, S. K. Ahluwalia, Indra Kumar, and Ashok Thakeria, and director Milap Zaveri at the helm, we are ready to embark on the fun filled ride!

Vivek Oberoi also wrote, “Revving up for the ultimate blast from the past! Brace yourselves as we dive back into the OG fun-filled adventure with #Masti4, ready to hit the floor soon!” He also promised that Masti 4 would bring back “laughter and memories”.

Soon after the announcement was shared, several fans rushed to the comments section and expressed excitement. “Matlab 4 Guna Masti?” one of the fans asked. “Ek bar fir se masti karege sir,” another wrote.
The three Masti movies were released in 2004, 2013 and 2016 respectively. The first Masti film also featured Amrita Rao, Genelia D’Souza and Tara Sharma besides the three male leads. In the second part, we saw Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni and Manjari Fadnis taking over as the female leads. On the other hand, Masti 3 starred Mishti, Pooja Bose and Shraddha Dad in key roles.
