However, Malaika Arora received a unique Mother’s Day wish when her son, Arhaan Khan, surprised her with an unexpected and funny message on WhatsApp. Arhaan posted a screenshot of their WhatsApp exchange on the occasion, which quickly went viral and left everyone in splits.

Arhaan Khan went on his Instagram Story on May 12 and posted a screenshot revealing his WhatsApp chat with his mother, Malaika Arora. The conversation began with Arhaan extending Mother’s Day greetings to Malaika, to which she responded with a “thank you” followed by the question, “Wat u got me? (sic)”

he fun started when her son joked, “I sold your clothes,” adding a heart emoji and saying “love you.” Malaika replied, “Use the money to get me something.” Arhaan quipped back, “I will buy you something with the money I got selling your clothes.” Arhaan ended it with, “Great minds think alike.”

Arhaan Khan also shared a throwback photo on Mother’s Day. It showed Malaika looking at a young Arhaan, with a heart emoji added. Arhaan is Malaika Arora’s son with her ex-husband, actor Arbaaz Khan, from their divorce in 2017. In an episode of Arhaan’s podcast, Dumb Biryani, Malaika talked about her life and future plans. During a game of Truth or Spice, Arhaan asked her about the good and bad traits he might have gotten from his dad, Arbaaz Khan. To this, Malaika had said, “Your mannerisms are just like him. Not very attractive mannerisms but they are just like him. He is a very fair and a just person in a sense that he never goes overboard about things. He is very clear about certain things and that trait you have. But at the same time, you can be extremely indecisive just like him which is my least favourite thing. You can’t decide colour of your shirt or what food you want to eat.”

In the same episode, Arhaan asked Malaika, “The nation wants to know when are you getting married mother?” Arhaan asks Malaika, adding, “I want an exact date, a venue, a destination and to whom.” To this, Malaika said, “I’m better off eating a mirchi. I can’t answer that. I don’t know have an answer to it. I think I’m living my best life now.”
