Businessman and producer Kayagurala Lakshmipathi recently joined the Jana Sena Party, marking his entry into the realm of public service. The significant move took place in the presence of Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan, adding momentum to the party’s growing influence.
Following in the footsteps of his father, K Narayanaswamy, Kayagurala Lakshmipathi is making his foray into public service through his association with the Jana Sena Party. With prior experience as an RTA board member and a member of the telecom advisory committee in Anantapur town, Lakshmipathi brings valuable insights and dedication to the party.
His father, K Narayanaswamy, has a history of active involvement in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), showcasing a family legacy of political engagement and commitment. During his tenure as a Telecom STD and ISD committee member, Lakshmipathi facilitated the allocation of STD booths to party members, coupled with securing bank loans. His efforts extended to distributing essential items like hand sticks and blankets to those in need through the KSS charitable trust, an initiative financed from his resources. Furthermore, he contributed to the construction of a water tank.
As the general secretary of Akhil Bharata Kapu Samakhya, Kayagurala Lakshmipathi has played a crucial role in advocating for the welfare of the Kapu and Balija communities through statewide programs.
Invited by Pawan Kalyan himself, Lakshmipathi decided to align with the Jana Sena Party, envisioning an active role in public service. His affiliation is expected to contribute significantly to the party’s prospects in the Anantapur Urban Constituency.
Expressing his commitment, Lakshmipathi stated, “I am a follower of Pawan Kalyan and have participated in many service programs with him in the past.” Acknowledging his entry into the film industry with the movie IQ due to his fondness for films, he announced his production involvement in two more films. Grateful for the support from the film industry and his friends, he affirmed his dedication to working for the people through the Jana Sena Party. He pledged to uphold the trust placed in him by Pawan Kalyan and expressed readiness to contribute wholeheartedly to public service.
The move signifies a strategic alliance between politics and the film industry, leveraging Lakshmipathi’s expertise and dedication to the betterment of society.
