Janhvi Kapoor is putting her full dancing range on display in her upcoming film Roohi. After the first dance number Panghat, the second song from the film shows Janhvi flaunting her dancing skills. Titled Nadiyon Paar, the second song, released today, is a recreated version of Shamur’s track Let The Music Play.
The song shows Janhvi wearing a shimmery gold blouse and slit skirt, dancing in a desert-like setting. The costume is by designer Manish Malhotra. Ropes, sand, mummy-like costumes for back-up dancers have been added to create the Egyptian feel. Fans of Janhvi who have been admiring her belly dancing skills on Instagram so far, get to see the actress put her skills to full use in this number.
The new version of the hit song has been composed by Sachin-Jigar and has additional vocals by the music composer duo, along with Rashmeet Kaur and IP Singh. The original song was sung by the band Shamur and written and composed by Emanuele Marascia and Alessandro Murru.
The first song from the Janhvi and Rajkummar Rao starrer horror comedy, called Panghat was released last month. Panghat is an upbeat fun song that conveys the internal monologue of Janhvi’s character. She is first seen dressed like a bride in a red lehenga as she teases co-stars Rajkummar and Varun in a palace-like setting. The mood gets creepy soon as Janhvi appears in a black dress with dark makeup.
