Gauahar Khan and Sister Nigaar Share Heartwarming Posts Dedicated to Their Father

Celebrity sisters Gauahar Khan and Nigaar Khan lost their father Zafar Ahmed Khan last week. Gauahar and Nigaar took to social media to share the news of their father’s demise as they mourned his death.

On Tuesday, Nigaar shared a heartwarming picture hugging her father on her Instagram Story. The former actress captioned the picture and expressed her wish to hold him like this just one more time. The 41-year-old actress had recently come to India for her sister Gauahar’s wedding that took place last year. Nigaar is settled in the United States with her husband Khayyam Shaikh.

Meanwhile, Gauahar also shared some of her precious memories with her father, most recently from her wedding day. In a similar picture, the former Bigg Boss winner posted a picture where she can be seen hugging her father. The picture was from Gauahar’s wedding day and in the caption she wrote that a father’s kiss is a blessing. She further expressed her love for her father as she wrote, “Zafar Ahmed Khan, I love you soooooooooo much.”

In another post, Gauahar shared a video from her wedding ceremony where her father is seen praying for her. Shared on Monday, Gauahar captioned the video and wrote that her father is her pride. She further called him the real star. The actress mentioned that her most favourite memory of her life is her father praying for her at her Nikah. The video also featured a heartwarming video where Gauahar and Nigaar’s father is seen embracing their mother who gotemotional during the wedding.

On the occasion of International Women’s day, Gauahar had dedicated a post to the two men in her life who made her a strong woman. Gauahar shared a picture from her Mehendi ceremony from last year, where she is accompanied by her husband Zaid Darbar and her father. In the caption, Gauahar mentioned that her father is her inspiration in the way she talks, thinks and who she became.

Gauahar’s father was unwell for a while and hospitalised, before his death on March 5. Following the news of his death, the film and television offered condolences on the post.
