Arjun Reddy Remake: Did Shahid Kapoor Just Find His Leading Lady in This Student Of The Year?

Actor Shahid Kapoor recently confirmed that he would be playing the role of an enfant terrible in Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, a role originally played by Vijay Deverakonda in Telugu. While Shahid had been in the talks to be a male lead of the remake for a while now, a new report in Pinkvilla revealed that the makers of the film have finalised the leading lady of the movie already.

A source has confirmed the portal that Tara Sutaria will be seen opposite Shahid in the movie. Tara will make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's production Student of the Year 2 and has been shooting for the same with Ananya Pandey and Tiger Shroff in Dehradun.

Arjun Reddy follows the story of a medical student and how he falls in love with his junior at first sight. The film features Shalini Pandey opposite Vijay.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is currently busy shooting Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is a lighthearted yet hard-hitting social drama that everyone will relate to.
