Under the steadfast leadership of Vishnu Manchu, the Movie Artists Association (MAA) has recently initiated a commendable crackdown on a plethora of YouTube channels that are notorious for propagating derogatory and offensive content. This latest rule has not only reinforced the association’s commitment to upholding the dignity of its members, but has also highlighted the need for a responsible digital ecosystem. Actress Meena Durairaj, who predominantly works in South Indian films as well as Hindi cinema, has supported this move and appreciated MAA president Vishnu Manchu. In a media interaction, Meena shared her heartfelt tribute to Vishnu Manchu and highlighted the significance of his leadership in addressing the pressing issue of online slander.
She expressed her gratitude, stating, “A huge thank you to The Movie Artists Association (MAA), under the remarkable leadership of Vishnu Manchu, for their swift and decisive actions against derogatory content on YouTube channels.”
Vishnu Manchu issued a strong appeal for all the influencers and netizens to be responsible and avoid publishing or spreading offensive stuff about actors, actresses, and their families on social media. The actor also warned that those posting offensive content will not be spared, and MAA is reaching out to the police department for help.
In a media interview, Vishnu Manchu also emphasised the importance of using social media platforms responsibly. He recognises the relevance of YouTube and other social media platforms in producing influencers and content creators. He urged these influencers to examine the impact of their content and avoid crossing lines that may damage others emotions or cause harm.
Vishnu Manchu was last seen in the 2022 film Ginna. This Telugu-language horror comedy film was directed by Eeshaan Suryaah and written by G Nageswara Reddy and Kona Venkat. It was produced by Mohan Babu, AVA Entertainment, and 24 Frames Factory. The film stars Vishnu Manchu, Payal Rajput, Sunny Leone, Vennela Kishore, and Raghu Babu in the lead roles. The music was composed by Anup Rubens.
Currently, Vishnu Manchu is busy shooting for his upcoming film Kannappa. This mythological fantasy film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. Apart from Vishnu Manchu, the film will also star Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar in the pivotal roles.
