In 2013, Govind Singh Dotasara of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Subhash Maharia of BJP by a margin of 10,723 votes which was 6.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 34.32% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Govind Singh Dotasra of INC won this seat beating Dinesh Joshi of IND by a margin of 34 votes which was 0.03% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 24.7% in the seat.
