CHENNAI: VP Rajini Reddy, Managing Director, Exemplarr Worldwide Limited and a first generation entrepreneur, was felicitated with the India Today Women Entrepreneur of Tamil Nadu award for excellence in entrepreneurship. His Excellency Dr K Rosaiah, Governor of Tamil Nadu, presented the award recognising her indomitable spirit of entrepreneurship in building a professionally driven, fast growing organisation, Exemplarr Worldwide, a diversified KPO and BPO solutions provider offering services in the domains of e-publishing, e-learning, legal services and architectural and engineering services. The top women entrepreneurs of Tamil Nadu were selected through a stringent evaluation process and the success stories of women entrepreneurs of Tamil Nadu in the shape of a Coffee Table Book titled “Business Wizards of Tamil Nadu” was also launched by Dr Rosaiah. This top honour to Rajini Reddy was in recognition of her leadership role in strongly positioning her organisation Exemplarr Worldwide as an IT major and as a key KPO and BPO solutions provider. It was also to recognise the pivotal role she had played in empowering women in the IT sector by being a founding member of EWIT (Empower Women in IT), a voluntary, not-for-profit forum initiated by senior women professionals of IT/ITES industry in 2006 with the key objective of “Increasing the Share and Sustainability of Women in the IT/ITES industry.Speaking on the occasion, Rajini Reddy said, “There is an adage that behind every man there is a woman, but in my case, there is a man behind my success -- my husband GRK Reddy who heads the MARG Group. It is his encouragement that has enabled me handle all challenges with a brave heart and today, my efforts in building Exemplarr from scratch stands vindicated.”Exemplarr Worldwide, founded in the year 1999, has experienced rapid success in a short span of time and this can be attributed to the managerial and leadership skills coupled with innovative business processes that Rajini has demonstrated. Today, Exemplarr Worldwide has over 500 employees, 3 delivery centres and 5 international sales offices. It boasts of an impeccable record and is the trusted partner for several global corporations providing technology led content solutions. She is also the chief of all the strategic business units and support functions. Rajini has also set up training centres for all the IT sectors in the company viz. Rajini has been an ambassador for women at work as well as rural employment.
