Will work for the welfare of the state: CM

BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda has said that his government is focused on improving the quality of education in the state.Addressing the gathering after inaugurating two new mechanical and civil engineering buildings of the SJBIT college, located in Kengeri on the outskirts of the city, on Saturday, the CM said that the BJP government for the last three years has been giving priority to improve the education sector.He also said that because of the efforts of the BJP government, Karnataka has emerged as an education destination.Home Minister R Ashok said that he has known the CM for many years, and he lauded Gowda saying, “His track record is very good.He will certainly remain in power for the next 20 months,” the minister added.He assured the youth of the State the government’s support and attributed Bangalore’s rise as an IT capital to youth power.Located inside the BGS Health and Education city, the new blocks were constructed at a cost of `15 crore and has state of the art laboratories and classrooms.The pontiff of the Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt, Balagangadharanatha Swami also presided over the event.
