Tamil Nadu: The Tamil Nadu Director-General of Police (DGP) has transferred the probe relating to the death of three students in Villuppuram district to the CB-CID. The family members of one of the deceased, Monisha, had been demanding the transfer of the case.
The families of the three girls claim they did not commit suicide and were in fact murdered. Three girl students of SVS College of Naturopathy and Yoga Science allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a private agriculture well opposite the college campus at Bangaram near Chinna Salem last week.
The victims were identified as T Monisha (19) of Chennai, A Saranya (19) of Kancheepuram and V Priyanka (19) of Tiruvarur studying second year in the private college.
