The attack took place in South Delhi in broad daylight.
New Delhi: In a shocking incident in the Moti Bagh area of South Delhi, two men allegedly entered the house of a customs officer and tried to set his 26-year-old daughter on fire.
Neha Gupta was reportedly alone in the house as her brother had gone to drop her father Ashok Gupta to work when she was attacked by two men.
Fortunately Neha’s brother returned returned in the nick of time and the assailants fled the scene when they saw him.
Ashok Gupta said the attack could be the fallout of the family rejecting a marriage proposal from one Deepak Sharma.
