BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Organised Crime Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested two persons for allegedly stealing batteries installed in traffic signals.
Sixty batteries worth Rs 3.6 lakh have been recovered from the accused who have have been identified as Syed Javed (28) and Zameer Pasha (25), both residents of Mangammanapalya near Bommanahalli. The police are on the look out for their associates Zameer, Firoz and Asif who are absconding.The accused were unemployed and used to steal batteries installed in the traffic signals to lead a lavish life.
