After a clash with cops, Orissa tribals refused to shed any land for industry in the area.
Jajpur: Clashes broke out between police and agitating tribals at Kalinganagar industrial complex in Jajpur district of Orissa on Tuesday over construction of a common corridor road for the industries.
Police fired rubber bullets and tear gas at the agitators who first started pelting stones at the police. Two tribals and one policeman were injured in the clashes as tension prevails in the area.
The tribals allege they are losing their land to the industries and are opposed to any industrialisation there.
