Tirumala is a spiritual place in the Tirupati district of the state of Andhra Pradesh, which attracts thousands of devotees every year. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has once again requested the devotees regarding bookings of online darshan. The organisation requested not to contact any middlemen to get the booking.

Recently, around 14,449 suspicious transactions were identified from 545 users. As per reports, all the users were blocked and a message has been forwarded to them informing them about the action. Some users booked around 225 Srivani darshan tickets, a premium darshan service for devotees. The organisation is reportedly conducting scans frequently to track any wrongdoings.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is also taking active steps to identify pilgrims who visit the place for darshan with fake IDs. The organisation mentioned that many pilgrims book accommodations and other services with fake IDs. They further added that it is the middlemen who do such things and thus requested the people to avoid using their services and book the darshan on their own. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams mentioned that they will take legal action against those who are indulged in such irregularities.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the Andal Ammavari Thiruvadipuram Sattumora, a grand celebration was organised in Tirumala on Wednesday, August 7. According to local beliefs, Andal Ammavaru, a manifestation of Bhudevi, appeared in the Tulasi grove that belonged to Sri Vishnuchittudu, a devotee of Lord Vishnu, in the Pandya kingdom. As a part of this celebration, special rituals were held at this place. Following this, the deities were taken on a special procession.

On the same day, Sri S Sridhar IPS took charge as the new Chief Vigilance and Security Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Later the official had darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Subsequently, several Vedic scholars blessed S Sridhar at the Ranganayaka Mandapam. The event was attended by officials from the Vigilance and Security Department of TTD and the police department.
