Telugu Mahila women ransack liquor shop

HYDERABAD: Scores of Telugu Mahila activists ransacked a wine shop damaging liquor bottles in Kothapet under Saroornagar police station limits here on Saturday.According to police, as many as 20 activists of the Telugu Mahila led by its president Sobha Himavathi, staged a dharna in front of a wine shop at Kothapet alleging that the shop was serving liquor violating excise rules and regulations.The crowd later entered the shop and damaged a few branded liquor bottles. However, no arrests were made.
