The state Cabinet which is scheduled to meet here on Friday is expected to enhance the salary grants to those working in over 43 private aided polytechnic institutions from 85 per cent to 100 per cent.
If the Cabinet gives its approval for the proposal, it would benefit over 500 teaching and non-teaching staff of private aided polytechnic institutions.
The Cabinet is also likely to extend the deadline given to small debtors who failed to repay loans availed from the state-owned Karnataka State Finance Corporation (KSFC).
