New Delhi:A fire broke out in a Chittaranjan Park hotel on June 6. A short circuit in the Regalia Inn, caused the fire.
The South Delhi multi-storied hotel caught fire on the ground and first floor.
Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and fire fighters took about 30 minutes to douse the fire.
Two women, including a French national, suffered severe burn injuries in a fire at the South Delhi hotel, fire department officials said
“31-year-old French tourist Lamia, who suffered 95 per cent burns, is battling for life at the Safdarjung Hospital,” a fire official said.
From Ludhiana Lissie Ahuja suffered burn injuries on her legs and is also admitted at the same hospital.
Police have registered a case of negligence against the hotel owner, though no arrests have been made yet.
