Shiva Thandavam, starring Vikram, Jagapathi, Anushka, Lakshmi Rai and Amy Jackson, is a big-ticket film directed by Vijay of 'Madarasipatnam' and 'Nanna' fame. The audio was released in Hyderabad, in the presence of stalwarts like VB Rajendra Prasad, Krishna Prasad, B Gopal, VV Vinayak, besides members of the film's cast and crew. Produced by C Kalyan, it is presented by UTV Motion Pictures.
"I knew Vikram even before he became an actor. I am happy that he has become a huge star of the country. The trailers are superb. C Kalyan doesn't care to spend money," said Vinayak .
The film's songs and trailers, said VB Rajendra Prasad, triggered an interest in him to make movies again.
C Kalyan said: My wish to make a film with Vikram has become real with this one. Jagapathi too is one of my favourite heroes. This film will stand out as an example for action movies. I have no doubt that people will forget 'Aparichitudu' after watching 'Shiva Thandavam'. For GV, this is the 25th film. I congratulate him on doing 25 films by the age of 25.
Director Vijay added that, "This is second film for me with Vikram. I am happy to have worked with the Nanna team yet again. The film has both action and romance. This is a journey of two friends. Jagapathi's work is amazing. Lakshmi Rai has done very well in her cameo. I am happy that I am going to become a part of the Telugu film industry. I am confident that this film will be a big hit in both languages".
