CHENNAI: The body of Suresh, the prime suspect in the murder of a 25 year old woman in Saidapet, was found on a railway track in Mumbai.
When Sivanandan, a contractor and resident of Dharmaraja Koil Street, arrived home on the evening of June 24, he found his wife, S Ashwini murdered. The former small time actress, a native of Mumbai, was found lying on the bed with her throat slashed. The couple also had a fouryearold son.

The police suspected that the woman was raped and murdered.

He was later named the prime suspect in the case after efforts to contact him over his cell phone failed.

Suresh was found dead on the railway track with his head severed at the Dadar station on Monday.

The Mumbai police later recovered his body and later sent it for an autopsy.

A police team from Guindy accompanied by Suresh's relatives, has reportedly left to Mumbai.
