New Delhi: Andy Roddick seems to have got back to his winning ways. He picked up the Queen's Club Stella Artois Championship. And in the WTA circuit, Serbian Jelena Jankovic won the DFS Classic, denying Maria Sharapova her fourth title in Birmingham.

Nicholas Mahut carried his great form into the first ATP final of his career. The 25-year-old was up against second seed Andy Roddick and took the game to the American. Mahut broke roddick in the 10th game to take the first set 6-4.

The second set was dominated by the Frenchman as he had a championship point to his name, but the inexperienced Mahut failed to capitalise, hitting this forehand into the net.

That was all Roddick needed as he took the second set 7-6 in the tie-breaker.

The experienced American sealed his fourth Queen's title with his 24th ace of the match.

"I feel pretty lucky, I feel like Nicholas was playing great all day long and, you know I was able just to string a couple of points together in the third set breaker and that was the difference," Roddick said after winning the title.

Meanwhile, Maria Sharapova took the opening set 6-4 with a perfect lob agianst Jelena Jankovic in the final of the DFS Classic.

The second set saw Sharapova struggling with unforced errors as World No. 3 Jankovic levelled the match taking the second set 6-3. The third set was hard fought with Sharapova leading five games to four in the third set.

But Jankovic served out to win in just under two hours as a tired Sharapova gave in. This was the Serb's fourth WTA title of the year.
