Ram Nath Kovind's Tailor Hopes the Orders Will Keep Coming
Noorul, a tailor by profession, has been stitching clothes for Ram Nath Kovind for the last five years and it is expected that Kovind will take oath by wearing the dress stitched by him.

Lucknow: With the announcement of Ram Nath Kovind's name as the 14th president of India, Noorul, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, has also shot to limelight.

Noorul, a tailor by profession, has been stitching clothes for Ram Nath Kovind for the last five years and it is expected that Kovind will take oath by wearing the dress stitched by him.

Noorul's shop, called Amar Tailor, is located in Rajajipuram locality in Lucknow. Noorul says a BJP leader put him in touch with Kovind and since then he has been doing clothes for Kovind.

Talking about the president elect's sartorial choices, Noorul said: "Kovind ji likes wearing kurta pyjama, sherwani and sadri, specially in white color."

A photograph of Noorul along with Kovind has been seen at the shop. When asked about the picture, Noorul said it was taken a few months ago when he was called at the Raj Bhavan in Lucknow.

Heaping praise on the president-elect, Noorul said: "Kovind is very simple and gentle in nature and will work amazingly in the capacity of a president."

On being asked whether he will be stitching clothes for him in future, he said: "Yes, if I get the order."
