HYDERABAD: Industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and IRAS officer KV Brahmananda Reddy were subjected to grilling over issues relating to execution of Vanpic project, deviations in concession agreement and the actual persons responsible for it.CBI officials tried to know at whose behest they had made the deviations in the agreement. Prasad and Reddy were shifted from the central prison at Chanchalguda around 11.30 am by a team of CBI officials to the Dilkusha Guest House. Complying with court orders, they were grilled in the presence of their counsels. The CBI sleuths tried to ascertain from Prasad about the Rs 300 crore he allegedly earned in acquiring land for the project. It is likely that information elicited from the duo would be checked with the then investments and industries minister M Venkataramana, who is now excise minister, when he appears before CBI on May 21. Prasad filed a petition before the court on Friday seeking permission that he be lodged at the prison itself after completion of grilling everyday. Granting CBI custody, the court told the agency that duo be put up at Dilkusha Guest House for all the 10  day period.
