Police nab wife, lover for killing man

KOCHI: A woman and her lover were arrested on Sunday for allegedly murdering her husband. The husband was found dead on December 22 at his home in Nedumbassery. Initially it was believed to be a suicide. But further investigation proved that the woman along with her lover had mixed sleeping pills in the food served to him and after he fell asleep, he was strangled to death with a towel, the Thrikkakara police said. The co-accused lived with his family in the UK and had come down to Kerala last October on a three-month holiday. The 32-year-old woman has two daughters.
