Photographers should change with time

CHENNAI: With changing times and technological progress, photographers and videographers need to keep their progress charts in sync, said film actor Sarathkumar while inaugurating a photo and video exhibition here on Friday.Elaborating, he said that the fast progress of technology had caused substantial stress among photographers and videographers, especially those who were not able to keep pace with the developments. “Practise yoga to avoid the stress caused by technology change,” he suggested. He called upon photo and video technicians to focus on the future generation when they worked.The exhibition, Digi Media 2012, is a three-day mega photo and video expo organised by the Tamil Nadu Video and Photographers Association (TVPA) at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, that showcases several types of albums, photographs and video editing software, studio equipment, printers, still and video cameras and vision mixers. Mohanraj, president, TVPA; Prasath, president, Andhra Pradesh Video and Photographers Association; and Parameshwar, president of the  Karnataka association, were among those present.
