Orphaned Children Can Get Rs 2,500 Per Month Under UP’s New Scheme

The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a new scheme for children who have lost either or both their parents, under which they will get Rs 2500 every month. Under the Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana scheme, destitute children will be given grants every month for their education and nutrition. District Probation Officer Vikas Chandra said that the scheme would be beneficial for children.

Who can take advantage of the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojna?

Children can avail this scheme if either or both their parents have passed away. They will be paid Rs 2500 per month as grant money which will be transferred to their bank accounts in quarterly installments.

Children who have lost both their parents do not need to furnish income certificate and can take advantage of this scheme by submitting their school card. It should be noted that only those children who are enrolled in schools can take advantage of this scheme.

The registration of this scheme is offline. Children need to provide the death certificate of their deceased parents, Aadhar card, bank passbook and registration number of their admission in school to avail the benefits of this scheme.
