MYSORE: The third JMFC court has issued Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) to the District Incharge and Medical Education Minister S A Ramadas for not appearing before the court in connection with the code of conduct violation while filing nominations to the K R Assembly Constituency during general elections held in 2008.Judge Damayanthi issued non-bailabalewarrant to minister Ramadas on Friday and directed him to appear before June 20.Ramadas, accompanied by the corporators MD Parthasarathy, Muralidhara Jetty, M V Ramaprasad and Shivakumar and others, went in a procession to file nominations to the K R Constituency on April 19, 2008, which was allegedly exceeding 120 persons limit fixed by the Election Commission.Following the footages captured in a camera when the procession had entered Chamundipuram Circle, the election observer had lodged a complaint against the Minister Ramadas and other four corporators at K R Police Station on the charges of violation of the code of conduct. Later, K R Police had submitted a chargesheet to the court. The other four accused have appeared before the court when ever their presence sought.On September 3, 2010, JMFC court had summoned Ramadas to appear before the court, but he did not follow the Court's order.Taking serious note of this, Judge Damayanti issued NBW again on Friday.
