Mumbai: A leading daily carried a story of good friends Bipasha Basu and John Abraham throwing a reception for the newly married Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi on July 7.
Bipasha, however, is aghast at the rumour. “I don’t know anything about this party. John and I are not planning any party of this sort. We have kept no reception or a party for Dhoni on the 7th of July. People have been hounding me and asking me details about this party. The fact is, that night is the semifinals of FIFA and I am just watching football. Mahi is not coming to Mumbai,” she says.
It is a well known fact that Bipasha and boyfriend John Abraham have been close friends of the Indian cricket captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. They were the only couple from Bollywood to have been invited for Dhoni’s hush-hush wedding in Dehradun last night. While Bipasha couldn’t attend as she was busy with her shoot, John managed to attend the wedding. The couple is said to know the new bride Sakshi very well, as they have gone out together a couple of times.
