No joke; comedian Raju Shrivastav gets threat calls
Shrivastav's jokes have not gone down well with the Pakistan-based underworld.

Mumbai: The underworld has struck against the entertainment industry after a long gap. This time, its comedian Raju Shrivastav who has been targeted after he lampooned don Dawood Ibrahim and Pakistan on the show The Great Indian Laughter challenge.

Shrivastav's jokes have not gone down well with the Pakistan-based underworld and they have been making threat calls to the comedian.

Though initially they were suspected to be prank calls his business manager confirmed that there were about ten calls received in the past twenty five days which indicate otherwise.

“I got calls from a +92 number and sometimes they said they were calling from Pakistan sometimes they said they were calling from London. They suggested that I should just stick to comedy and not make fun of Dawood or Tiger,” says Raju Shrivastav.

According to reports the Mumbai crime branch has increased security for the comedian though he has not registered an official complaint as yet.
