TIRUCHY: The Magistrate Court here on Monday remanded Sasikala’s husband Natarajan to judicial custody till March 19 in a cheating case. Natarajan, who is already in the Central Prison in connection with another case, was produced before Judicial Magistrate Court IV amid tight security. He was accompanied by advocate R Malarvizhi. Magistrate Pushparanai, who heard the case, remanded Natarajan to judicial custody till March 19. The City Crime Branch police had registered a case on Friday against Natarajan and six others for allegedly cheating a real estate businessman N Varadharajan in a land transaction. CCB inspector Sigamani (in-charge) registered a case against Natarajan and three of his associates Saran, Anandhakrishnan and Chelladurai under various sections of IPC including sections 147 (rioting) and 420 (cheating), etc.
