Ahead of the 70th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited ideas from people on what he should talk about in his speech on August 15 from the ramparts of the Red Fort.
"Share your ideas for the PM's speech on 15th August," the Prime Minister's office tweeted.

In a video message posted on his site, Modi said that the festival of Independence is not a government festival, rather it should be a festival of the country, just like Diwali.
Appealing to the country as the Pradhan Sewak, he said that he wants that his speech from the Red Fort not just be the thoughts of the PM but of the "125 crore people of the country."
"As per the tradition, I get a chance to talk to the nation on August 15. You also would have some thoughts which you would want to be put forth from the Red Fort. I invite you to send me your thoughts which you think I should say from the Red Fort, as your Pradhan Sewak. Do write to me, give me suggestions and new ideas, I will try to convey your thoughts to the countrymen."
"I hope you will do something patriotic and something inspiring. Please share those pictures with us. Create an environment ahead of the day," he said.
You can send your thoughts and suggestions for the PM on NarendraModi App, MyGov.in. The best inputs, as stated by the PMO, will be incorporated by Modi in his Independence Day speech.
