GULBARGA: Naganna Badiger, 97, who was presented with the Nadoja Award by Hampi University in 2005, died on Saturday in his house.
Badiger is survived by his son Manayya and five daughters. He was born in HandralGonal village of Shorapur taluk in Yadgir district. He was honoured with the Nadoja award by Karnataka Shilpakala Academy in 1998. The last rites took place at Handral village on Saturday evening.
